Having managed her own family law practice for five years before joining Triangle Divorce Lawyers in 2020, she brings experience as an attorney, former law firm owner, and legal team leader.
Alice takes a strategic, goal-oriented approach to family law. She helps clients understand the strengths and challenges of their cases, evaluate their options, and determine whether negotiation, mediation, or litigation provides an appropriate path forward. When litigation is necessary, she draws on her courtroom and trial experience to prepare thoroughly and advocate for her clients.
Within her broader family law practice, Alice has significant experience with complex and high-conflict child custody matters, including emergency custody, substance-use concerns, and requests for equal parenting time. She also serves as a parenting coordinator, working with parents experiencing ongoing conflict and communication challenges.
Alice’s connection to family law is both professional and personal. She was initially drawn to the field after watching people close to her navigate difficult divorce and custody disputes. Later, while practicing law, Alice experienced her own divorce and custody matter and continues to share parenting responsibilities for her child. These experiences have reinforced her commitment to providing practical guidance and helping families consider the long-term impact of decisions made during a family law matter.
Alice earned her Juris Doctor from North Carolina Central University School of Law in 2014, graduating summa cum laude. During law school, she served as a Staff Editor for the North Carolina Central Law Review and published an article examining the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals’ First Amendment decision in U.S. v. Hamilton. She earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and Communication Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Before entering the legal profession, Alice worked in the hospitality industry and served as General Manager for several hotels in North Carolina and the Midwest. Her management and client service experience continue to inform her leadership at Triangle Divorce Lawyers.
Alice values teamwork and collaboration, believing that clients benefit when attorneys and legal professionals communicate openly, share perspectives, and work together toward a common goal. Based in the firm’s Raleigh office, she serves family law clients in Wake, Johnston, Onslow, Wayne, Granville, and Franklin Counties.

Outside of the office, Alice enjoys spending time with her daughter and longtime partner. She loves traveling to Walt Disney World, reading romance novels, and gathering with family and friends for card and board games.
