Alyssa N. Sweeney
Associate Attorney
Alyssa Sweeney is a family law attorney who provides steady, compassionate guidance to individuals facing the challenges of divorce, custody disputes, and other domestic matters. She is committed to helping clients make informed decisions during emotionally difficult times, offering both legal skill and a supportive presence every step of the way.
Originally from Maine, Alyssa moved to North Carolina to attend North Carolina State University. In 2020, Alyssa graduated with a major in Anthropology and a minor in Political Science. She chose to remain in North Carolina to pursue her law degree at Campbell University School of Law. During her time in law school, Alyssa gained valuable hands-on experience through the Gailor Family Law Clinic, representing individuals in Wake County and building a strong foundation in family law practice.
To further strengthen her courtroom skills, Alyssa studied abroad in Scotland, where she focused on advancing her trial advocacy techniques. This experience deepened her understanding of litigation strategy and sharpened her ability to advocate effectively on behalf of her clients.
Since graduating and passing the bar in 2024, Alyssa has represented clients across numerous counties in North Carolina whether in the Court room or in mediation. Where she strives to have her clients feel heard, empowered, and guided through the legal process.
Outside the office, Alyssa enjoys long walks with her two beloved dogs and spending time outdoors.
