Carrie Parker
Senior Paralegal
Originally from Virginia, Carrie Parker has proudly called North Carolina home for over 30 years, particularly Johnston County, where she has resided for 27 years. Embracing the spirit of the Tar Heel State, she considers herself a true North Carolinian through and through.
Carrie graduated from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA, with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. After teaching kindergarten, first, and second grade for 15 years, she transitioned to become a North Carolina State Certified Paralegal in 2006. Carrie’s decision to become a paralegal was influenced by her own custody litigation experiences. Her aim is to support her clients by drawing from her personal struggles, making their legal processes as smooth as possible.
Carrie enjoys spending time with her three grown children, Britt, Brad, and Izzy; and sweet granddaughter, Meadow. She and her ex-partner have cultivated a positive relationship over the years. Carrie also manages a small farm, where she cares for horses, chickens, cats, and dogs. Recently, she has been actively involved in the plight of the American Mustang, training three wild-born mustangs rounded up by the Bureau of Land Management.
